We understand every event has different needs; we welcome any sort of ideas and desires you may have. We will do whatever we can to help you have your most perfect event.

The way our timber-frame barn is constructed there are many opportunities and creative ways to hang your decorations. Using the existing design features of the barn, timber frame wooden pegs and rafters, we’re happy to help you actualize your design.

The following is a list of crossover information and answers commonly asked questions regarding weddings and non-wedding events.

How will I be charged? A flat rate? Hourly?

  • Our Saturday Farm rental rate for 2017 is $6,500 and includes rental of the farm from 10am – 12pm as well as many of our basic amenities such as tables and chairs.  Please contact us for our Wedding Brochure for a complete list of available options.
  • We only host weddings on Saturdays.  We do not host weddings on Sundays.
  • We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve the date; the deposit will be applied to your overall balance. *

Off Season Rates (November through March)

How long will I have use of the space? What are the specific times?

The Saturday rental fee reserves the space for 14 hours.  Your rental will begin at 10am and will end at midnight.  All items brought by you, your vendors, or your guests must be removed by the end of your rental period.

Example Timeline.

  • One hour rehearsal.  Your rehearsal day and time will be based on venue availability.
  • Set up may begin at 10am on Saturday.
  • Complete access all of Saturday
  • All guests leave and decor is removed by 12am.

Is cleanup included in the price? Or am I responsible for cleaning?

Cleaning, trash removal, set up and take down of tables and chairs are included in our venue rental. You will only be responsible for removing items that you have brought with you.

Rental company pick-ups may wait until Monday, if necessary, but please neatly organize and ready the items for pick-up.

If the weather is bad, is there a contingency for the outdoor space?

Unfortunately, sometimes we just can’t trust the weather. We have a wide grassy area perfect for outdoor seating, and we suggest planning for tents if all of your guests will exceed the space within the barn, loft and covered patio area.

What about food and alcohol?

Alcohol – Due to the nature of our liquor license, alcohol shall be purchased and served by Blue Bell Farm.  Alcohol that has not been purchased by Blue Bell Farm is prohibited.  Please contact us to discuss our available bar packages and pricing.  Food – Blue Bell Farm can provide farm-to-table catering for your wedding. There is a $1,000 fee for outside catering.

How much parking is available?

We have several options for parking. We can park about 35 cars on our gravel lot; the remaining cars will be parked in our pasture lot. A parking lot attendant will be provided to assist guests with parking.

We recommend bus companies that will make round trips to and from nearby towns (Columbia, Rocheport, New Franklin, Boonville). If you have guests staying nearby busses are perfect for easy transportation and safety of guests enjoying alcoholic beverages.

Do you provide lodging?

We do have a bridal cottage that is available for overnight stays; For your guests, please peruse the list below of nearby hotels and B&Bs.
