We are really quite fond of winter. It’s the season that tells us to slow down and reflect and it’s also the season for romance. When we designed our barn we knew that we wanted it to be a cozy, intimate space for winter weddings.
Winter at the farm is a special time and we appreciate all that the season has to offer. The muted colors of ponds, trees and hills create gorgeous backdrops for winter wedding photographs.
We moved here six years ago and began growing organic vegetables. Back then, we could only dream that someday the food grown on the farm would grace the tables of our wedding guests. Today we are pleased to be able to offer our guests farm-to-table catering that highlights the bounty of the farm.
Our custom wedding menus are inspired by the best organic and grass-fed ingredients available each season. In addition to providing excellent taste and quality, we believe that farm-to-table catering can help support our community of family farms and artisan vendors. When you choose to buy local for your wedding, the money you spend will stay in the community and will help our economy prosper.
Delicious locally grown food is available even in the winter months! Hardy greens continue to grow and thrive under cover and crops like potatoes, beets and carrots wait patiently in the root cellar. Pickled and preserved fruits and vegetables from the summer season make wonderful additions to salads and charcuterie platters.
As you may have already guessed, we are more than just fond of winter. Snowy days, cozy fires and delicious comfort food warm our hearts and souls. If you are a bride dreaming of a winter wedding we hope you will give us a call. We would love to help you plan the winter wedding of your dreams!
Thank you to all of the amazing vendors who collaborated for this lovely Winters White styled shoot!
